Sandro Flores - Del Juego al Compromiso
Sandro Flores nació en Argentina, y llegó a Estados Unidos con su familia sin saber que permanecería en el estado de WA. Entregó su vida al Señor durante una celebración del día de la madre en Centro de Vida. Su esposa Alicia (quien ya había hecho un compromiso con Dios) le había pedido como regalo que la acompañara al servicio ese domingo. Decidió asistir, sacrificando su partido de futbol. Sandro solía participar del juego todos los domingos. No obstante, ese día en el santuario fue tocado fuertemente por la presencia del Espíritu Santo. Sandro ya se graduó de la Escuela Vida, enseña en su Centro Vida, y lidera un grupo de ujieres en el servicio de las 5:00 pm. Sandro se ha convertido en un hombre de Dios, dispuesto a seguir a Jesús por el resto de su vida.
Leo Melendez – La Mano de Dios / God’s Hand
En el año 1986, una de mis piernas fue diagnosticada con cáncer. En ese entonces recibí el tratamiento y el Señor me sanó del cáncer. Hace aproximadamente 2 años operaron mi pierna y me hicieron un reemplazo de rodilla total. Todo marchaba bien pero recientemente empecé a sentir dolor y malestar en mi rodilla y después de examinarme, el doctor me dijo que tenía una infección llamada celulitis.
Para poder tratar esta infección, los doctores tenían que hacer cirugía en mi pierna pero esta operación sería bastante complicada ya que tendrían que sacar todas las partes sintéticas que había en mi rodilla y llenar con cementos que tenían antibióticos por 3 meses. Después de esos 3 meses, me iban a reemplazar nuevamente la rodilla con piezas nuevas. Uno de los temores que tenía el doctor es que mi pierna se iba a destruir porque estaba muy débil resistir esa operación.
Ese día lunes cuando recibí el diagnóstico, el doctor quería dejarme en el hospital pero yo insistí y le dije que tendría que regresar a mi casa porque quería ir a mi grupo de discipulado. Esa noche yo pedí oración al Ps. Roberto y todos los discípulos oraron por mí y algo que no olvido fueron las palabras finales del Pastor en la oración declarando que cuando los doctores abrieran mi pierna no encontrarían infección alguna.
Esa misma noche ingresé al hospital y en la mañana me llevaron para hacerme la operación pero cuando estaba ya en la mesa de operaciones, el doctor me miró con su cara confundida y me dijo: “No sé que ha pasado, voy a cambiar la operación que habíamos planeado”. Yo le pregunte: “¿Por qué?” y me dijo, “¡No hay infección en tu pierna!”
Todo ha sido un milagro de Dios y las palabras que fueron declaradas por el Pastor Roberto la noche anterior en la oración se cumplieron en mi vida. El Señor todopoderoso, en quien he creído, ha hecho el milagro. Estoy muy agradecido con el Señor porque sé que El puso su mano sobre mí.
Martín Navarro – libre de drogas y alcohol
Desde los 13 años comencé a envolverme en el alcohol. Tuve muchos problemas con la ley. Me detenían por manejar bajo la influencia y tuve que usar un brazalete para ser monitoreado por las autoridades. Fui en busca de ayuda a organizaciones para dejar el alcohol y las drogas pero siempre terminaba cayendo en lo mismo. Al visitar Centro de Vida, Cristo transformó mi corazón y eliminó todo deseo de drogas y alcohol. Luego de pagar más de $15,800 de multa, milagrosamente me devolvieron el privilegio de manejar. Hace ya más de 2 años que estoy en los caminos de Dios. Quise ser obediente al Señor y me bauticé. Ya tengo un Centro Vida y una Casa de Paz. También estoy sirviendo en los ministerios de intercesión, ujieres, y como maestro de niños. He tenido el privilegio de alcanzar vidas para Cristo y Dios continúa haciendo milagros en mi vida.
Sara Figueroa – libre de violencia
Durante 20 años sufrí de violencia doméstica con una relación que destrozó mi vida y la de mis hijas. Un día mi hija Pamela vino a casa con una amiga de la escuela y me pidió permiso para asistir a la iglesia con ella. Yo no creía en nadie y mi situación se mostraba más oscura y sin ninguna esperanza. Un día Dios puso en mi camino a Verónica Tellez, la cual se ofreció a traer un estudio bíblico a mi casa, que se llama Casa de Paz. Yo no sabía nada de Dios. Verónica me hablaba del amor y del perdón de Dios, pero no tomaba el paso de aceptarlo. Un domingo fui con mi hija y mis amigas a la iglesia y allí recibí al Señor Jesús en mi corazón. De allí en adelante todo empezó a cambiar para bien. Puedo sentir Su presencia cada vez que hablo con Él. Me siento libre y sin ninguna presión. Tomé la decisión de bautizarme y ser obediente a mi Dios, el cual me enseñó a vivir y depender en Él.
Jesús Martínez - Fue el amor de Dios
Jesús llegó en el 2008 después de ver la presentación POR AMOR de semana santa. Jesús y sus amigos venían de Oregon. Ese día su amigo Fidel Flores, quien había sido sanado del alcoholismo y drogadicción, estaba actuando en la obra. Jesús dijo que no podía creer que un hombre que él conocía de tiempo atrás, con su testimonio en el suelo, había sido restaurado por Dios. Ese mismo día Jesús aceptó al Señor Jesucristo en su corazón. El año pasado Jesús pasó una prueba muy dura. Fue detenido por más de un mes por inmigración. Ahora él está libre y a punto de resolver su situación legal en este país. Jesús Martínez sirve en varios ministerios de Centro de Vida.
Conner Dávila - La transformación de su padre
Conner es hijo de un reconocido médico de nuestra comunidad. Tiene 15 años de edad. A los 14 años, comenzó a fumar marihuana. No creía en nada y decía que era ateo. Para él Dios era alguien que había venido y había desaparecido. Un día su papá entregó su vida a los pies de Jesús. Al observar los cambios radicales de su papá, Conner decidió asistir de curioso a Centro de Vida. Participó del campamento de jóvenes y fue allí donde Conner rindió su vida a Cristo. Ya el joven Conner se bautizó y asiste a la Escuela Vida, ansioso de aprender más de Dios y servirle.
Stephen Stanford - Entrega Total
Stephen llegó a Centro de Vida con su hermosa familia, pero solo llegaba para complacer a su esposa. Tenía muchas dudas y desconfiaba de lo que Dios podía hacer en su vida. Luego de varios meses asistiendo, participó del campamento de hombres y el sábado Dios tocó su corazón y transformó su vida para siempre. Al recibir el Espíritu Santo, Dios le mostró que necesitaba ser mejor esposo y padre. Estaba ansioso de llegar a su casa para compartir con su esposa y comenzar una nueva relación. La familia Stanford ya está asistiendo a un Centro Vida y son fieles partícipes de las bendiciones que Dios tiene para ellos en Centro de Vida.

Sandro Flores - Del Juego al Compromiso
Sandro Flores was born in Argentina, and arrived in the United States with his family without knowing that he would remain in the State of Washington. He gave his life to the Lord during a Mother’s Day celebration at Centro de Vida. His wife Alicia (whom had already made a commitment with God) had asked him as a gift to attend the service that Sunday. He reluctantly accepted, sacrificing his soccer game. Sandro used to play soccer every Sunday. However, that day in the sanctuary he was greatly touched by the presence of the Holy Spirit. Sandro graduated from the School of Life. He also teaches in his Center Life, and leads a team of ushers during the 5 pm service. Sandro has become a man of God, committed to follow Jesus for the rest of his life.
Leo Melendez –God’s Hand
In 1986, one of my legs was diagnosed with cancer. I received treatment and the Lord healed me. Approximately 2 years ago, I underwent surgery to replace my knee. Everything was going well, but recently, I began to feel pain in the knee and the doctor informed me that I had an infection called cellulitis.
In order to treat this infection, doctors needed to perform surgery in my leg. However, this surgery would be very complicated because they needed to remove all the synthetic parts from my knee and fill it with cement containing antibiotics which lasted for 3 months. After those three months, the knee would have to again be replaced. The doctor feared that my leg would not resist another surgery.
That Monday when I received the diagnosis, the doctor wanted to leave me hospitalized but I insisted to allow me return home and attend discipleship. That night I asked Pastor Roberto and his disciples to pray for me. I can’t forget Pastor’s last words in his prayer declaring that when the doctors opened the leg that they would not find any trace of infection.
That night I returned to the hospital and in the morning I was taken to the operating room. However, as I was laying in the operating table, the doctor looked at me with a confused face and told me: “I don’t know what happened, but there is a change of plans in the surgery.” I asked him why, and he told me: “there is no infection in your leg!”
Everything has been a miracle of God and the words that were declared by Pastor Roberto the night before during prayer were fulfilled in my life. The Almighty Lord, in which I have believed, has done the miracle. I am grateful with the Lord because I know that He placed His hand in me.
Martin Navarro – Free from Drugs & Alcohol
Since the age of 13 I began to get involved with alcohol. I had many problems with the law. I was detained for driving under the influence and I even had to use a bracelet to be monitored by the authorities. I was seeking help with organizations in an effort to quit drugs and alcohol, but I always ended falling in the same routine. After visiting Centro de Vida, Christ transformed my heart and removed all desire to use drugs and alcohol. After paying more than $15,800 in tickets, miraculously, the privilege to drive was returned. I have been in the walk with God for more than 2 years. I wanted to be obedient to the Lord and I was baptized. I already have a Center Life and a House of Peace. I am also serving in the intersession and ushers ministries, as well as teaching in the children’s ministry. I’ve had the privilege to reach lives for Christ, and God continues to perform miracles in my life.
Sara Figueroa – Free from Violence
During 20 years I suffered domestic violence with a relationship that destroyed my life and the lives of my daughters. One day, my daughter Pamela came home with a school friend and asked permission to attend church with her friend. I did not believe in anyone, and my situation was become darker and without hope. One day, God placed in my path Veronica Tellez. She offered to bring a Bible study to my house, which she called House of Peace. I didn’t know anything about God. Veronica would speak to me about God’s love and forgiveness, but I would not take the step to accept Him. One Sunday I went with my daughter and her friends to church, and I received the Lord Jesus in my heart. From there on everything began to change for the better. I can feel His presence every time I speak to Him. I feel free and without pressure. I made the decision of getting baptized and become obedient to my God, who showed me to live and depend on Him.
Jesus Martinez - It Was God's Love
Jesus arrived in 2008 after watching the FOR LOVE Easter presentation. Jesus and his friends came from Oregon. That day, his friend Fidel Flores, whom had been healed from alcoholism and drugs, was acting in the play. Jesus could not believe that a man that he had met some time ago, with a bad reputation, had been restored by God. That same day Jesus accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in his heart. Last year Jesus had a hard trial. He was detained for over a month due to immigration matters. He is now free and in the process of fixing his legal status. Jesus Martinez serves in various ministries in Centro de Vida.
Conner Davila - His Father's Transformation
Conner is the son of a distinguished doctor of our community. He is 15 years old. At the age of 14, he was using marijuana. He did not believe in anything and said he was an atheist. For him, God was someone who had come and had disappeared. One day his father gave his life to the feet of Jesus. After observing the radical changes in his dad, Conner was curious and decided to attend Centro de Vida. Young Conner is now baptized and attends the School of Life, anxious of learning more about God and how to serve him.
Stephen Stanford -Total Surrender
Stephen came to Centro de Vida with his beautiful family, but he only arrived to please his wife. He had many doubts and distrusted what God could do in his life. After attending for several months, Stephen participated of the men's camp, and that Saturday God touched his heart and transformed his life forever. After receiving the Holy Spirit, God showed him that he needed to be a better husband and father. He was anxious to go home to share with his wife and begin a new relationship. The Stanford family is attending a Center Life and they are faithful participants of the blessings God has for them in Centro de Vida.
